Well, the root canals of the tooth are the main parts of the pulp cavity which are inside the roots and contain a main pulp tissue which is made up of blood vessels and nerves. Here, the nerves are responsible for broadcasting the feeling of temperature and pain inside the tooth. Besides this, Root canal treatment is the right procedure to remove the infected or damaged nerves and tissue from the tooths pulp chamber.

How is the treatment performed?

The treatment consists of many steps which begin from the first visit of yours to the dental clinic based upon the situation. The steps are:

  • Initially, an small opening is created in the back of the front tooth or premolar.
  • After pulpectomy (a process during which the diseased pulp is moved out), the pulp chamber are cleaned with the root canal, expanded and shaped in a proper way for filling.
  • When more than a visit is advised, the temporary filling is removed and the pulp chamber and the root canal are filled permanently.
  • A rubbery material known as gutta-percha is inserted in every canal and is sealed to set the place with cement.
  • Even sometimes, a plastic rod or metal is placed in the canal for the support.
  • Finally, a crown is placed over the tooth to present the natural shape and good appearance.

Well, if you have any root canal problem, then get it diagnosed by an x-ray before the treatment as from here your treatment to the problem begins at the dental office.

Besides this, Root canal treatment is the right procedure to remove the infected or damaged nerves and tissue from the tooths pulp chamber and with the aid of laser root canal treatment the pain is reduced during the procedure without the use of anaesthesia.
